- How do I decide which trip is right for my group?
Our four-hour trips are recommended for an average fishing charter.
Our three-hour trips are recommended for shark or inshore fishing charters.
Our four to six-hour trips are creek trips with up to four miles of offshore fishing.
Our six to eight-hour trips (four people max.) include up to 30 miles of offshore fishing.
- What if my group wants to fish for specific fish species?
If you want to go after specific species of fish, just reach out to us prior to your trip and we can tailor the length of your charter to meet your specific needs.
- What is your cancellation policy?
We have a 48-hour cancellation policy. You will be charged during that window unless we cancel your charter due to severe weather conditions or illness.
- We want to cook the fish we catch. Can you help clean our fish?
Yes! We are happy to clean your fish for you. We also know several restaurants that can prepare your catch for you. Either way, you’ll enjoy the freshest seafood possible!
- Is tipping mandatory?
Tipping the crew is customary and should be based on service. The Bayrunner team captains spend long hours behind the scenes catching bait, making rigs, doing maintenance, and more to try and ensure you have a great experience. If the visible effort meets your satisfaction, then you may want to tip, as blaming the crew for a lack of fish would be like blaming your waiter for the cook’s job. The industry standard is 20%.
- Can up to five people be accommodated on smaller trips?
We can accept parties of five for smaller trips if the group includes two or more children. Please note there is an extra fee of $50 for this modification to your trip.
- What is provided during my fishing charter?
We provide all the necessary fishing equipment and a valid fishing license as well as a cooler.
- What do I need to bring?
We recommend you bring the following:
- Bug spray
- Snacks and drinks
- Windbreaker or jacket
